Safe Haven Spring Break Activities

 March 24-28, 2008

 10:00am-5:00pm

  Open to youth ages 8-14.  Cost is $5 for non-PAL members, free for PAL members.  Activities include arts & crafts projects, video game competitions, billiards, outdoor games (weather permitting), and a sledding field trip to Mt. Hood (space limited).  Youth should pack a lunch and snacks for the week.  Please call 503-759-3300 for Spring Break applications or for questions.

Spring PAL Session Activities

PAL spring afterschool hours are Monday-Friday from 2:30pm-7:00pm.  PAL is open 10:00am-5:00pm on no-school days.  Activities include:  Homework Club, video games, arts & crafts, outdoor recreation, billiards, Youth Leadership Program, computers, and more!  Cost is only $50, or $25 for those youth who qualify for free or reduced lunch with a copy of their acceptance letter from the school.  Membership is valid through the end of August 2008. 

 

 
 

Molalla Mat Club

The Molalla Mat Club was refounded for the 2007-08 wrestling season by a group of dedicated parents and volunteers. 

                                   Open to youth ages 3-16                                    

Head Coach: Robert Reed

Assistant Coach:  Richard Reed

Molalla Mat Club Wrestling Clinic will be held the end of October.  Dates, times, and location still to be determined.  Practices will begin the first week of November.  Monday-Thursday from 6pm-7:30pm through Christmas Break.  January 09-February 09 practices will be held Monday-Wednesday from 6pm-7:30pm.  Beginners and Advanced practices available.   

Cost:  $35 per child for USA Wrestling card

If needed, youth can attend three practices prior to purchasing their USA Wrestling card to ensure your child/children want to participate for the season.

The Molalla Mat Club is in need of wrestling singlets, shoes, headgear, and gear bags.  To donate product or cash please contact Club Mom, Amy Edwards, at springlake@molalla.net.  Only $175 to sponsor a child for the season!
