About SOAR

The Student Options to Achieve Results (SOAR) program is a 21st Century Community Learning Center partnership between the Oregon Department of Education, the Police Activities League of Greater Portland, the Molalla Police Activities League, and the Molalla River School District, Molalla Elementary School, Todos Juntos, Clackamas County Youth & Family Mediation, Molalla Communities That Care, and the Molalla Police Department.  SOAR is designed to provide Molalla Elementary School K-5th graders with afterschool academic and enrichment classes to improve state test scores.

WinterTerm SOAR Information :

Dates are January 12-March 20, 2009

Winter term classes include aka Science, kidzlit, gardening/math, health & Fitness, cooking, arts & craft, drama, and more! Students will be served an afterschool snack.  School bus transportation home after the program is provided for students within MES boundaries only.  Registration forms are available in the SOAR Office at Molalla Elementary School or at the Molalla Youth Center (209 Kennel Ave).

Family Education Information:

As a requirement of the 21st CCLC sites, SOAR Family Education classes are offered each term to families of SOAR students.  Winter term Family Education classes to be determined.  Please call 503-759-3300 for more information on family ed classes.
